Tour Overview

PERAST, OUR LADY OF THE ROCKS, KOTOR, TIVAT - PORTO MONTENEGRO

Visiting one of the most beautiful bays in the world is the opportunity to explore all the uniqueness and natural beauty of the bay and to learn about its history, culture and architecture.

Meet charms of Perast, a small tourist settlement, a former main harbour of the magnificent Venetian Republic which together with two islands (Our Lady of the Rocks and Saint George) is a pearl of the Bay.
It is inevitable to visit Kotor, a town registered as a part of World Heritage and put under the protection of UNESCO. The old town of Kotor is one of the most preserved in the whole region, hidden behind the city walls. Kotor is a real treat for any tourist eager to discover and enjoy.
Finally, we will visit Tivat and its world-wide known yacht marine – Porto Montenegro.

The trip starts at 4:00 pm from Herceg Novi. After a photo break at Cape Verige — the narrowest part of the bay — we arrive around 4:40 pm in Perast, an ancient coastal town and former main harbour of the magnificent Venetian navy, once consisting of 1,000 ships. Perast is completely preserved and was the last place where the Venetian flag stood. Nowadays it is the pearl of the Bay, but no visit is complete without seeing Our Lady of the Rocks — an island opposite the town, created through centuries of entwining legend and tradition. On the island stands a 17th-century church and a museum with a rich collection of statues, murals and relics. You will have 1 hour and 30 minutes to explore both the island and Perast.
Next, we visit Kotor, which together with the bay is registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The old town of Kotor is one of the most preserved in the entire region, hidden behind more than 4.5 km of city walls. During your visit you will have the opportunity to see little squares, the cathedral, the Maritime Museum and numerous churches, as well as time to relax and enjoy one of the many cafes. Around 8:00 pm we continue our journey to Tivat and the world-renowned luxurious yacht marina — Porto Montenegro — which reflects the architecture of both Kotor and Perast. Beyond being a marina, Porto Montenegro is designed to fulfil every expectation, featuring attractive world brands, remarkable restaurants and bars. Return is planned around 11:00 pm.
